UT Martin Engagement Center Representative - Sales

On campus position with technology provided for calling. This job is ideal for someone looking to go into sales.

Work Hours:

Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 

Required to work a minimum of two calling shifts per week, 7 hours per week. 

  • We have a great need for Wednesday evening

Responsibilities

·      Call alumni, parents, previous donors, and grateful clients to engage in a persuasive

conversation about UT Martin. 

·      Act professionally as a goodwill ambassador for the University of

Tennessee at Martin.

·      Make prospects aware of events and engagement opportunities in Martin

and throughout Tennessee.

·      Ask prospects to make a pledge, increase their previous gift,  consider a recurring credit card gift, or an outright credit card gift.

·      Check-in with Engagement Center management team and maintain productivity to

meet nightly goals.

·      Utilize feedback and coaching from staff to improve calling technique.

·      Answer questions that arise and make notes of prospect requests or

questions you cannot answer.

·      Update demographic information and help maintain accurate prospect

records.
