Summer Custodial Student Worker - Housing

Requirements for Application:

• Ability to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• Be in good conduct standing with the university.
• Enrolled in either summer 2025 or fall 2025 courses at UTM.

Custodial Student Worker General Job Requirements:

1. Provide cleaning services for university residential facilities
2. Assist in the preparation and clean-up of residential units
3. Clean windowsills, stairwells, handrails, and baseboards
4. Sweep, vacuum, dust mop, wet mop, and buff floors
5. Change lightbulbs as needed
6. Assist in completing work orders
7. Adhere to all health and safety precautions
8. Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools as needed
9. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope and intent of the position

Compensation:

$9.00/hour - up to 40 hours per week 

Please note that we will have blackout dates where ALL staff are required to be present to assist in preparing buildings for new camps: June 1-5 and July 6-11.
