Summer Maintenance Student Worker

Requirements for Application:

  • Ability to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
  • Be in good conduct standing with the university.
  • Enrolled in either summer 2024 or fall 2024 courses at UTM.

Maintenance Student Worker General Job Requirements:

1. Provide minor maintenance services for university residential facilities
2. Repair and replace blinds
3. Replace ceiling tiles
4. Assist in preparing and painting residential units
5. Assist in repairing and replacing locks, closures, mortises, etc. 
6. Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools as needed 
7. Assist in completing work orders
8. Adhere to all health and safety precautions
9. Perform other duties as assigned with the scope and intent of the position


Compensation:

$9.00/hour - up to 40 hours per week 

 

Please note that we will have blackout dates where ALL staff are required to be present to assist in building prep for new camps: June 2-6, June 23-28, July 7-11, and July  14-19.
