The Health and Human Performance Department is seeking an outgoing and personable individual who will represent the department and university by assisting our students, faculty, staff and visitors with warmth and a smile. This individual will have the opportunity to gain real world experience in an academic setting that fosters growth, creative thinking, and encourages progress individually and academically. Job duties may include but are not limited to the following: answering phone, assisting Faculty/Staff, cleaning, copying, customer service, filing, typing, and/or verifying information.
 
Expectations
1.     Standards of Attendance
  1. An absence or tardy must be reported to the Program Resource Specialist or the Chair of the department
  2. An absence without proper notification or satisfactory reason is unexcused. An absence of three consecutive days without notification or satisfactory reason is considered a voluntary termination.
  3. Repeated Tardiness. Tardiness is defined as arriving at work past the appointed starting time without supervisory approval.
  4. Other Absences. Such absences include the failure of employees to report to their work place at the beginning of the work period, leaving work before the end of the work period, and failure to inform the supervisor when leaving the work area.
2.     Work Performance/Ethic
  1. Follow instructions and/or perform designated work as directed by authorized university officials
  2. No sleeping on the job
  3. Be productive and maintain a clean, neat work area
3.     Confidentiality
a.     Maintain a strict confidentially in regards to personnel information or advising files for student, faculty or staff.
4.     Customer Service Excellence
a.     Answer the phone with a smile
b.     Acknowledge all students, faculty, staff or visitor with a greeting and/or smile
c.      Be courteous and helpful to all
