Office of Alumni Relations Student Worker Position

The UTM Office of Alumni Relations is looking for an energetic, dependable, and friendly student to join our team! If you enjoy meeting new people, staying organized, and being involved on campus, this could be the perfect job for you.

Every day is a little different! You'll help welcome alumni, donors, students, and campus guests, assist with exciting events, and support the daily operations of our office. As one of the first faces visitors see, you'll help create a warm, welcoming experience while representing UT Martin with professionalism and Skyhawk pride.

What You'll Do

  • Greet alumni, donors, students, and visitors with a friendly smile.
  • Answer phones and assist guests with questions.
  • Perform general office duties including filing, copying, scanning, organizing, and data entry.
  • Prepare mailings and assist with correspondence.
  • Help with alumni events, campus programs, and special projects.
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming office environment.
  • Support the Alumni Relations staff with a variety of administrative tasks.

We're Looking for Someone Who Is...

  • Eligible for the Federal Work-Study Program.
  • Available to work 12–15 hours per week.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Professional and respectful in all interactions.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (or willing to learn).
  • Able to work independently while also being a great team player.

Because you'll regularly interact with alumni, donors, university leadership, and campus guests, professionalism is important. Professional or business casual attire may be required during alumni events, meetings, and other special occasions.
