Position Overview

UT Martin Athletics is seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-service oriented students to join our Game Day Operations team. This position provides valuable experience in event management, customer service, retail operations, and concessions while supporting Skyhawk Athletics and Ag Pavilion events throughout the academic year.

Team members play an important role in creating a first-class experience for fans, student-athletes, and guests at athletic competitions and special events.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Selling and scanning tickets at athletic events
• Greeting and assisting fans as an event host
• Assisting with game day operations and event setup
• Working in the Skyhawk Team Shop
• Assisting with concession operations, including:
  • Food preparation
  • Food and beverage sales
  • Stocking inventory
  • Delivering supplies
  • Cleaning concession areas before, during, and after events
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Performing other event-related duties as assigned

Students may be assigned to different roles depending on the staffing needs of each event.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling based on class availability
• Frequent evening and weekend shifts are required
• Hours vary based on the Athletics and Ag Pavilion event schedules
