Distance Learning Assistant

The Office of Regional Centers and Online Programs is seeking dependable students to assist with distance learning classes on the UT Martin main campus. This is a straightforward position that does not require advanced technology experience. Training will be provided on all classroom equipment and responsibilities.

The student will prepare assigned classrooms before class, turn on and check basic equipment, assist instructors with connecting to their distance learning classes, remain available in case help is needed, and shut down equipment after class.

The most important requirements are dependability, punctuality, communication, and the ability to consistently work assigned shifts. Applicants should be comfortable using basic computers, following instructions, and working independently.

Students must be eligible for Federal Work-Study and able to work up to 10 hours per week. The position pays $8.50 per hour.
