2026 Career Peer Educator
Make a Difference — Starting with Your Own Career
As a Career Peer Educator (CPE), you will do more than help classmates polish their resumes. You will build real-world skills, grow your professional network, and gain hands-on experience that sets you apart in your own job search — all while making a genuine impact on your peers' futures.
What You'll Do
- Coach fellow students on resume and cover letter writing
- Help peers navigate internship, part-time, and full-time job searches
- Lead engaging presentations on job search strategies and career topics
- Promote CPAD programs, events, and resources across campus
- Collaborate with a team of fellow CPEs and professional career staff
What You'll Gain
This role is designed to grow you. As a CPE, you will strengthen these skills:
- Communication: one-on-one advising and group presentations
- Leadership & Teamwork: working in a professional office setting
- Critical thinking: helping peers solve real career challenges
- Professionalism & Work Ethic — skills employers consistently rank as top priorities
These aren't just bullet points for your resume — they're competencies you will practice every week.

- A strong communicator — in conversation and in writing
