Academic Coach
Academic Coach (formerly known as STEM Tutor)
The Student Success Center, in conjunction with the Library Learning Commons, is seeking qualified peer educators to assist students in General Education courses and in key areas such as study skills, time management, and critical thinking.
A successful Academic Coach will provide students with assistance in all General Education courses while offering generalized coaching. In addition, upon faculty endorsement, Academic Coaches may be allowed to coach outside of the General Education curriculum.
In addition to initial training (electronic and in-person), and ongoing training (approximately one hour per month), Academic Coaches must work approximately 10 hours per week (minimum 125 hours per semester).

Timeline:
Academic Coaching positions will be filled prior to the start of the upcoming semester. Interviews will take place approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the last day of classes in the current semester. Final decisions will be made as soon as possible.
